150th Anniversary of the Canonisation of St Paul of the Cross

St Paul of the Cross was canonised on 29 June 1867. To mark the 150th anniversary of this event, our Superior General, Fr Joachim Rego CP, proposes to all Passionist religious and laity ‘a deeper rediscovery of the extraordinary person of St. Paul of the Cross and his spirituality of the depths of God’s love emanating from the Passion of Jesus.’ He goes on to say: ‘How enriching it would be for us individually and communally to focus on the mind and heart of our Founder and delve into his vision of the Congregation and its mission in light of our present times.’ You can find the full text of Father Joachim’s message here.
